Hello to all and thanks for joining us here! I will be posting on the VapersClub.com site where we are so people can find us.. although I am not sure the link is stil in  my signature on my posts at ECF so I am not sure how many will find us.. but I emailed the 8 or 9 who emailed me and they will spread the word we are here for now.

DW.. I completely understand where you are comiing from... when Kate was banned... do you remember I went on "fast" and refused to post? Reason? I did not care to be associated with such underhanded dealings.

When I went back to ECF.. I put "Trust NO ONE" in my signature for WEEKS!!! So that people would know that even though I was there... I did not approve of the way things worked there.

Now? I do not want our club to be associated directly with people who put the MONEY first OR disregard their members for power hungry mods!

The intention to start www.VapersForum.com was always there. I bought it when I bought VapersClub.com.. but I had no time to set it up. Now we need it... we cannot run our club without a forum because we need to communicate during these crisis times of potential ban and meetings with legislators.

I will set it up regardless for our club and anyone who wants to join may do so.

I will go back to ECF after the ban is lifted and I will post in EVERY thread and start a TON of new ones... then I will put in my signature the name of the new forum and then I will get banned AGAIN (for doing NOTHING wrong... which I did by the way to show SJ how unreasonable the Cop squad is being).

My posts are at the top of 3 of the top 4 headings (including the new members forum - stickied) so my name is the FIRST people usually come across. This is advantageous to us and I will use it to the best of my ability to keep the word out there that the board is not a Democracy and is run poorly if at all.


Anyway... I will not try to REPLACE ECF with the new board (we know that is not possible.. and I would not want something that big)... but I will try to have a place where free speech and criticism are allowed so we CAN come up with new ideas and share things.

Off to work on setting it up and I have to grade papers... i have to teach class tonight.

Received a SOS from Spikey about a ban and directions here.  First let me say how good it is to see you all here.I had no idea here existed!  I haven't been on ECF much because, well you clearly know why.  I also believe it has a role, and since I find it hard to bite my tongue, I stay away.
So what happened with Spikey?  Kate are you banned again??? or were you just referring to the Big  One? Would anyone care to give a synopsis of events?  I can guess who did the evil dead, w/o knowing a word of it.

Yes, I'm banned again for asking clarification of what behaviour is acceptable, or being cheeky, or something.  I'm not quite sure yet why exactly I was banned because Smokey Joe seems to be having trouble telling me what rules I might have broken.

Spikey got banned for being annoyed at over controlling mod behaviour and speaking her mind.  That must be against the rules too.  Some people are trying to spin dissent as moderator abuse - us abusing them by not keeping quiet and doing what we're told.

It's pretty much rubbish over there socially anyway now.  For me the heart of the community is elsewhere.  It's not bad as an information base and shopping centre still I suppose.  Once they drive away the reasonable people they might not even be able to offer good advice for newbies though.  That'll leave vested interests and mods to play with themselves.

It's very amateurish management for somewhere that has such a high turnover of revenue.  I hope they get some professional advice quickly, without consumers there'll be no financial value either.

Luckily there are plenty of other good places to hang out.

I read some posts by you about moderator behaviour at ECF Rose.  Those are great posts, very sensible and much needed over there.

Joe has now told me that I was banned for openly complaining on the boards about mods.  I didn't and he can't show me any evidence.  I'm still banned though.

I didn't get any time off for good behavior either. my ban actually took like an extra 20 minutes or so before it lifted 

I think Spikey has incriminating pictures of SJ or something  and thats how she did it because the incidental detail of the ban being unfair does not seem to actually matter.

I'll still keep coming here and keep you company kate. It might be cranky and obnoxious old man company but I appreciate this forum being available to me when another one wasnt so I am gonna stick around a bit and see how it goes.

Yeah, justice and fairness don't seem to be much of a priority.  PR and keeping the punters for bums on seats is probably everything.

One thing I can say you are a wonderful writer. You put your thoughts down so wonderfully. I dont know whats going on with everyone at the other forum. But it doesnt sound good. I am new to esmoking and the forums. But I do believe I seen some of your posts. I know whatever you may have said never offened me. well take care

I know you dont know me but I have seen your comments and two of your videos. I thought they were wonderful. very informative. I didnt know you were banned from the other forum. Why are so many people getting banned? Either way girl. I think your wonderful. I think you could do anything you put your mind to. You seem like a strong independent woman. And your pretty too teehee I like the way you kid around with others too.

Dumwaldo: good op-post, thanks, really helps to get to know you a bit better (or at least to confirm what was allready starting to come through about you, at ECF, anyway - took a while, but I do think a lot of people on there were allready 'on to you' as 'perhaps leather-skinned, but still with the heart at the right place'

Thanks for the offer of passing messages at ECF.  When they banned me they removed my sig and blocked messages from my profile even though it doesn't say Banned.  Now I'm not contactable by anyone who might want to find me and it's pretty annoying.

DW, Sure hope you post here the way you used to over at ecf (mcf) your last post there I read was not you. Some times I liked your post and other times I didn't, but I tried to read them all. I don't post but, I can read and I feel that people were accused and abused. The people that gave me the information
that got me into e-cigs are at other places and I feel I must follow because I need their help and advice. I would like to think you and all the other people that I hold in high regard.

     If you have nothing nice to say about people then your banned.. That includes the forum..   Its that simple..  You can go on the other forums and bash all you want.. But not at this one..
